Next, we will show you how to book the shuttle service based on how you book your hotel.

Book with a Travel Agent

If you booked your hotel through a travel agent, your shuttle transfer is usually arranged before your arrival.

The travel agent will normally coordinate your ferry schedule with the hotel in advance, so the pickup process becomes smoother when you arrive in Bintan.

If you are unsure about your transfer arrangement, simply contact your travel agent to confirm the details before your trip.

For example, some Bintan Hotel Packages by Bintan Travel Guide (BTG) already include land transfer from Bandar Bentan Telani Ferry Terminal.

Everything is prepared in advance, so you can arrive more comfortably without needing to arrange transportation separately upon arrival.

Booked via Agoda / Booking.com / Other Marketplaces

If you booked your hotel through Agoda, Booking.com, or another online booking platform, you will need to contact the hotel directly to share your arrival details.

Once your booking is confirmed, simply use the “Contact Property” feature in the booking platform to inform the hotel about your ferry schedule.

Please include:

  • Your ferry travel date
  • Your arrival time
  • Your ticket class (Economy or Emerald)

This is important because Economy and Emerald passengers may arrive at different arrival halls at Bandar Bentan Telani Ferry Terminal.

Booked via Official Hotel Website

If you booked directly through the hotel’s official website, the process is usually simple.

Some hotels will ask for your arrival details during the booking process. Others may only provide a “Notes” section where you can add your ferry timing.

In many cases, the hotel will also follow up by email to confirm your arrival schedule.

For Club Med Bintan, there is no listing on marketplace platforms, as all bookings are made directly through their official website.

When you book via the official website, you can simply add transport services during the booking process.
