Bintan Mangrove & Fireflies Tour Combined
Combine a daytime mangrove tour and an evening fireflies tour into one trip, without travelling back and forth to the jetty.
During the mangrove tour, cruise along the Sebung River with a chance to see wildlife such as monkeys, monitor lizards, kingfishers, and other river wildlife.
After a short break at the jetty, continue with an evening boat ride after sunset, with a chance to see fireflies along the river.
Both experiences take place by boat on the Sebung River with a guide and boatman.
The combined trip runs from around 17:00–17:15 until 19:00–19:15, starting and ending at the jetty.
Hotel pick-up time depends on your hotel location. For hotels in the Bintan Resort area, pick-up is usually around 15–30 minutes before departure.

Tour Itinerary
- Hotel Pick-up
Your private transport with a private driver picks you up from your hotel lobby and takes you to the jetty.
For hotels in the Bintan Resort area, pick-up is usually around 16:30–16:45, depending on your hotel location.
- Journey to the Jetty
The drive takes around 15–20 minutes from hotels in the Bintan Resort area, or about 60 minutes from East Bintan, depending on your exact hotel location. - Boarding & Briefing
At the jetty, your local guide welcomes you and gives a short safety briefing. Life jackets are provided before you board the boat. - Mangrove Boat Tour
The first cruise takes you along the Sebung River aboard a low-emission boat with your local guide and boatman.The mangrove cruise lasts around 50–60 minutes, with a chance to observe the mangrove ecosystem and possibly spot wildlife such as monkeys, kingfishers, monitor lizards, and other river wildlife.
- Break at the Jetty
After the mangrove cruise, return to the jetty for a short break while waiting for it to get dark enough for the fireflies tour, usually around 15–30 minutes.Refreshments may be offered during the break, including soft drink, young coconut, and ice cream, subject to availability.
- Fireflies Boat Tour
Once it is dark enough, board the boat for the second cruise, which lasts around 30–45 minutes.Cruise quietly along the Sebung River with a chance to see fireflies glowing naturally among the mangrove trees.
- Return to Your Hotel or Optional Dinner Stop
After the fireflies cruise, you can return directly to your hotel or make an optional dinner stop at a nearby restaurant or along the way.Possible options include:
– Kelong Bintan Brother Seafood
– Local food court in the Simpang Lagoi area
The dinner stop is optional and can be requested when booking. Your private driver will be ready to continue the journey whenever you are finished.

For cancellations made within 3 days of the tour, no-shows, or unused services, the payment is non-refundable.
The tour may continue in light rain, but the itinerary may be adjusted if weather conditions affect safety or the boat trip.
If the weather is unsuitable, we will first try to reschedule the tour. If rescheduling is not possible, a refund can be considered.
The combined boat experiences take around 2 hours, including approximately 50–60 minutes for the mangrove cruise and 30–45 minutes for the fireflies cruise, with a short break between them.
