Bintan Fireflies Tour: Free Hotel Pick-Up & Drop-Off
Bintan Fireflies Tour is a boat tour along the Sebung River, giving guests the chance to see fireflies within the mangrove ecosystem over approximately 45 minutes. The boat is accompanied by a local guide and a boatman throughout the trip.
The tour departs at 7:00 PM from the jetty. Guests staying in the Bintan Resort area are typically picked up around 06:30 PM, while those outside the area are picked up earlier to allow extra travel time.
This tour is arranged directly by Bintan Travel Guide, so everything is taken care of, including private return transfers, trip support, and the tour itself — leaving guests free to focus on the experience.

Details Itinerary
Pick-up Service
Guests are picked up from their hotel lobby by private transport. The tour departs at 7:00 PM from the jetty, and the exact pick-up time is confirmed at booking based on hotel location.
Transfer to the Jetty
The ride to the jetty takes around 15–20 minutes from hotels in the Bintan Resort area. Travel time is longer for hotels located outside the area.
Before the Tour
Guests meet their local guide at the jetty and receive a short briefing before boarding. Life jackets are provided for all guests.
Fireflies Experience
The boat heads out along the Sebung River through the mangrove forest. As it gets darker, fireflies can be seen glowing among the trees while the guide shares details about the local ecosystem and wildlife.
Return Transfer
After the cruise, a driver is waiting to take guests straight back to their hotel.
Additional Stops
A stop at a restaurant, convenience store, or supermarket on the way back can be arranged if requested in advance.
Booking, Payment & Cancellation Policy
How to Book
Contact BTG via WhatsApp or email with the tour date, hotel, and number of guests. The team will check availability and send the price and booking details. Booking early is recommended during weekends and holidays.
Payment
Advance payment is needed to confirm a booking. A deposit may be accepted, depending on the tour date. Payment goes directly to PT Bintan Travel Guide’s official account. Card payment is also accepted.
Cancellation Policy
- Cancel at least 4 days before the tour date to get a refund, minus admin and processing fees.
- Cancel within 3 days, no-show, or unused service: no refund.
Weather Conditions
Weather affects safety and comfort during the tour. If weather is not suitable, the tour can be rescheduled first. If rescheduling isn’t possible, a refund will be offered.
Refund Policy
Refunds may include admin and processing fees. Processing time depends on the payment method and provider.
