Speedboats from Telaga Punggur, Batam depart every 30 minutes. We recommend heading out between 08:30 and 09:30 so you arrive in Bintan with plenty of time for the day. The crossing takes around 15 to 17 minutes.
Explore Bintan Sand Dunes
From the port, your driver takes you straight to the Sand Dunes.
The area is not large, but the scenery is noticeably different from the rest of the island. Sandy ground on a tropical island is not something you come across often, and that contrast is what makes it worth the visit.

Visit Blue Lake Bintan
Blue Lake sits right next to the Sand Dunes, so there is no extra travel between the two stops.
Walk up to the elevated edge and you get a clear view down over the lake.
The turquoise water set against the surrounding greenery is what most people come to see and photograph here.
Bintan Mangrove Boat Tour
From the Sand Dunes and Blue Lake, your driver takes you to the mangrove jetty, about a 30-minute drive.
Here you board a local boat for a 60-minute cruise along the Sebung River. A local guide accompanies you and explains the ecosystem as you travel through the river and mangrove forest.
Wildlife spotted along the route can include monkeys, monitor lizards, and kingfishers, depending on daily conditions
Visit Lagoi Bay
The last stop is Lagoi Bay, located within the Bintan Resort area. Here you can head to Lagoi Bay Beach, walk around Plaza Lagoi, or just take your time exploring the area.

While you explore, your driver stays on standby at the nearby car park.
After Lagoi Bay, you head back to Tanjunguban Port. The latest departure from this area is 15:40 to make sure you reach the port in time.

Pick-Up at Tanjunguban Port
Your driver-guide will be waiting at Tanjunguban Port on arrival. We recommend taking the speedboat from Telaga Punggur, Batam between 08:30 to 09:30, so you arrive in Bintan with enough time for the full day ahead.
The day before your trip, we will send you your driver details along with a short guide on getting to Telaga Punggur, how to buy speedboat ticket and boarding.
Transfer to Sand Dunes & Blue Lake Bintan
Travel by private vehicle to the Sand Dunes and Blue Lake. The journey takes around 17 minutes.
Explore Sand Dunes & Blue Lake Bintan
Your driver-guide stays with you as you explore both spots. Most visitors spend around 60 to 90 minutes here, but the pace is yours to set.
Transfer to Mangrove Jetty
Around 30 minutes by private vehicle.
Mangrove Boat Tour (60 Minutes)
A 60-minute boat cruise along the Sebung River with a local mangrove guide. As you travel through the river and mangrove forest, your guide explains the local ecosystem. Wildlife along the route can include monkeys, kingfishers, and monitor lizards, depending on conditions on the day.
Lunch Break (Own Expenses)
Lunch timing is flexible and depends on when you arrive in Bintan. Your driver helps find a nearby restaurant along the way, just let him know your preference, whether that is a local food court, a seafood restaurant, or somewhere in the Lagoi Bay area.
Transfer to Lagoi Bay
Around 17 minutes by private vehicle from the food court area. ( If you will lunch on this area )
At Lagoi Bay
Free and easy time at Lagoi Bay. Walk along the beach, explore Plaza Lagoi, or just relax. Your driver stays on standby at the nearby car park. Latest departure from this area is 15:40.
Back to Tanjunguban Port
The journey from Lagoi Bay to Tanjunguban Port takes around 30 to 40 minutes.
Return to Batam via Tanjunguban Port
You are expected to arrive at the port around 16:15, in time for the 16:30 speedboat back to Batam. We always recommend booking the 16:30 slot in advance. If it is fully booked, the 17:00 departure is available as a backup.

- This itinerary is for a day trip to Bintan from Batam only
- No passport is required for travel between Batam and Bintan
- Speedboat tickets cannot be booked online — tickets are purchased in person at the counter only
- Speedboats depart every 30 minutes, from 08:00 to 17:30
- Speedboat ticket price: IDR 63,500 per person (Batam to Bintan) and IDR 57,000 per person (Bintan to Batam)
- Payment at the counter is cash only in IDR — make sure you have enough on hand before heading to the port
- The day before your trip, we will send you a guide on how to buy your ticket and get to the speedboat

All payments go directly to the official account of PT Bintan Travel Guide. Card payments are also available through our approved payment channels.
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations made at least 4 days before the tour date are eligible for a refund, subject to administrative and payment processing fees
- Cancellations made within 3 days of the tour date are non-refundable
- No-shows and unused services are non-refundable

We monitor weather conditions in Bintan closely. If conditions are not suitable for the day trip and you are still in Batam, we will offer a refund subject to the standard administrative fee.
