They worked with us weeks in advance to create a tour of Bintan island based on... read more our interests. My son wanted nature and tropical adventures, Mangrove and coffee plantation tour. Dad wanted to do some snorkeling and spend time on the beach, Kelong snorkeling, kayaking and white sand beach swimming. Mom wanted cultural tours and shopping, local gift shops, temples and downtown city tour. All of this spread out over several days allowing us to rest in between the activities. Our guide Hery was very insightful helping us to understand the local traditions and culture. It was truly an amazing trip.

Bintan will allow you to enjoy beaches, temples and amazing food (visit The Manabu Bintan in Tanjung Pinang) all while seeing the real Indonesian culture. There is plenty to see there, but as it is not overly developed yet, you will see litter and unkept beaches, you will see poverty along side resorts, for us it was all part of the experience. #nofilter
