How to Meet Your Bintan Hotel Staff at the BBT Terminal

Arriving at Bandar Bentan Telani Ferry Terminal (BBT) and wondering where to meet your hotel staff?

No need to worry.

This guide will gently walk you through each step so you can begin your holiday smoothly and comfortably.

Many travelers ask BTG about private transfers from BBT.

To clarify: BTG does not provide them because all hotels in the Bintan Resorts area offer their own shuttle service.

Most hotels are only 5–15 minutes from the terminal, making it easy to meet your staff without any hassle.

ensuring everyone knows exactly what to expect upon arrival.

Before You Arrive

BBT has two different arrival paths, depending on your ferry ticket class:

Regular / Economy Class
Emerald Class

Each class uses a different arrival gate, so the meeting point will not be the same.

1. Regular / Economy Ticket Class

After your ferry docks, follow these steps:

Immigration clearance
- Make sure you meet the requirements for a Bintan Visa on Arrival, if needed.
Collect your checked luggage
Customs clearance
- Complete your E-Digital Arrival Card before traveling. Make sure you are not carrying restricted items.

All these steps are close together—simply follow the flow of passengers.

Meeting Your Hotel Staff

After clearing customs, walk to the Arrival Hall (still inside the terminal). Here, representatives from all hotels in Bintan Resorts usually wait, holding signs with their hotel name or logo.

Approach the staff politely and mention your name if you have a booking.
They will check the arrival list, help with your luggage, and guide you to the hotel transport (bus, minibus, or car, depending on your hotel).

Ask the security officers nearby
Or ask another hotel representative—they are usually happy to help

This ensures your arrival is smooth, even if there’s a small delay in spotting your hotel staff.

2. Emerald Class Ticket Class

If you travel with Emerald Class, the process is even more convenient:

After disembarking, all Emerald passengers are guided to the Emerald Lounge. Signage and lounge staff will direct you.
Inside, you can sit comfortably and enjoy lounge facilities while staff handle immigration and customs for you.
