Bintan Brother Seafood: The Seafood Restaurant in Bintan
If you’re looking for where to eat seafood in Bintan, Bintan Brother Seafood is one of the most common answers you’ll get.
There are actually two separate Bintan Brother Seafood restaurants on the island, and they’re quite different from each other, one sits inside ASUN Family Food Court, about 15–20 minutes from Bintan Resort area,
and the other is a kelong restaurant built out over the sea.
Here’s what each one offers, how far they are from your hotel, and how to combine a visit with a tour or activity in Bintan.
Where Is Bintan Brother Seafood Located?
Bintan Brother Seafood has two locations:
- Bintan Brother Seafood – Simpang Lagoi: located near ASUN Family Food Court in Simpang Lagoi, about 15–20 minutes from Bintan Resort area depending on your hotel’s location.
- Kelong Bintan Brother Seafood – Tutenja: a kelong-style restaurant built over the water in Sebung Tutenja, around 20–35 minutes from Bintan Resort area.
Both restaurants accept IDR cash and credit cards.
Bintan Brother Seafood Simpang Lagoi
Bintan Brother Seafood Simpang Lagoi is located right in the food court area, surrounded by stalls serving a variety of local food, think ayam bakar, sate, and bakso.
So it’s an easy stop if your group wants more than just seafood.
The setup is simple and comfortable, with tables, chairs, and restrooms all on site, making it a convenient lunch or dinner stop between activities.
If you’re arranging your trip through Bintan Travel Guide (BTG), this restaurant is often included as a complimentary stop when you book one of these activities:
- Private Blue Lake Bintan & Sand Dunes Tour
- Bintan Mangrove Tour
- Bintan Fireflies Tour
- Combined Mangrove & Fireflies Tour
- Bintan ATV Adventure (up to 8 km)
So if you’re already planning one of these tours, this is a convenient place to grab a meal along the way, without adding much extra travel time to your day
Kelong Bintan Brother Seafood (Tutenja)
It’s located further north, on the way toward the top of Bintan rather than within the resort area itself, around 20–35 minutes’ drive.
Keep in mind that Grab is only available within the Bintan Resort area, so Grab Car won’t be an option for getting to Tutenja, a taxi is the more reliable choice.
The setting is the main reason people make the trip: open water views, sea breeze, and a noticeably quieter atmosphere than a food court.
It suits travelers who want their seafood meal to feel like part of the experience, not just a stop along the way.
Because it’s a bit further out, it works best as a planned dinner destination rather than a quick stop along your day.
