Hotel Shuttle Services from Bandar Bentan Telani (BBT)
Hotels in the Bintan Resorts area provide shuttle services from Bandar Bentan Telani (BBT) Ferry Terminal.
Depending on the hotel, shuttle vehicles may be buses, minibuses, or cars. Most hotels are around 5–20 minutes from the terminal.
This guide lists the hotels that provide shuttle services from BBT.
It also explains where to meet your hotel staff based on your ferry ticket class: Regular / Economy or Emerald.

The Residence Bintan also provides a shuttle service, although it is located in East Bintan, outside the main Bintan Resorts area.
But you need to contact them first.
If your hotel is not listed above or is outside the Bintan Resorts area, it may be located in East Bintan or the Trikora area.
In that case, you will likely need to arrange a private transfer.
How to Meet Your Hotel Staff at BBT Ferry Terminal
Hotel staff are usually on standby at BBT according to the ferry arrival schedule from Singapore.
Most hotels in the Bintan Resorts area have counters in the arrival hall, where staff hold signs displaying the hotel name and logo.
Your meeting point depends on your ferry ticket class:
- Regular / Economy class ticket
- Emerald Class ticket
Follow the instructions below for the ferry ticket class you booked.
Regular / Economy Ticket Class
Step 1: Complete immigration and customs
Once the ferry docks at the ferry terminal, follow the other passengers to the immigration and customs clearance area.
Make sure you have your passport ready and prepare the following documents:
- Visa on Arrival (if required): Read our guide to Bintan Visa on Arrival.
- All Indonesia Digital Arrival Card: Have your arrival card barcode ready to scan. Learn more in our Bintan Arrival Card guide.
Step 2: Enter the arrival hall
After clearing customs and collecting your luggage, make sure you have not left any belongings behind at the customs X-ray machine.
Then, proceed to the arrival hall just outside the clearance area.
The arrival hall looks like the area shown in the photo below.
Inside the arrival hall:
- Look for hotel staff holding signs with hotel names and logos.
- They are usually on both sides of the hall, with some standing in the middle.
Step 3: Meet Your Hotel Staff.
- Tell the hotel staff your booking name.
- They will verify your reservation and guide you to the shuttle pickup area.

Cannot Find Your Hotel Staff?
If the arrival hall is crowded and you cannot find your hotel staff, you can:
- Ask staff from other hotels nearby.
- Ask a security officer or ferry terminal staff for assistance.
They can help you find your hotel representative.
Emerald Class Ticket
Step 1: Proceed to the Emerald Lounge
After leaving the ferry, terminal staff will guide you to the Emerald Lounge.
You can also follow the signs directing you to the Emerald Lounge.
Step 2: Complete arrival clearance
Once you arrive at the Emerald Lounge, you can relax and enjoy the available refreshments, such as coffee and tea.
Ferry terminal staff will assist you with immigration clearance, passport stamping, and collecting your luggage.
Before leaving the lounge, make sure:
- Your passport has been stamped with the correct entry date for Indonesia.
- You have received all your luggage and checked that the bags belong to you (if any)
- The total number of bags matches the luggage you checked in ( if any )
Step 3: Meet your hotel representative
After the arrival process is complete, exit the lounge through the sliding doors.
Hotel representatives usually wait outside with hotel signs.
The photo below shows the area outside the Emerald Lounge.
Look for the sign displaying your hotel’s name and tell the hotel representative your booking name.
If you cannot find your hotel representative, ask nearby security staff or return to the Emerald Lounge counter for assistance.
