Bintan Resort Ferries (BRF) runs ferries from Singapore to Bintan four to five times daily, between Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal and Bandar Bentan Telani Ferry Terminal.
The crossing takes about 70 minutes. Bintan time is one hour behind Singapore time.

How to Choose the Best Ferry Timing
The right ferry depends on hotel check-in time and first-day plans.
Based on Hotel Check-In Time
Most Bintan hotels check in guests between 14:00 and 15:00.
- 11:10 ferry: A common choice. Guests arrive with time to register, have lunch, and relax before the room is ready.
- 14:00 ferry: Arrival is close to standard check-in time. The room is often ready on arrival.
Based on First-Day Activities
The 08:10 and 09:10 ferries suit travelers with activities planned on arrival day.
- Bintan Full Day Tour — runs about 7–8 hours.
- Bintan Snorkeling Tour — runs about 5–8 hours, depending on hotel location.
