Bintan Snorkeling Tour is a single trip to a traditional kelong reached by boat from a jetty in the Trikora area, East Bintan, spending around 2 to 3 hours at the site.

The area is known for generally calm conditions, making it suited to beginners, with a chance to spot colourful tropical fish depending on sea conditions.

Private transport, hotel pick-up, and snorkeling equipment are all included as part of the booking.

Details Itinerary

Hotel or Ferry Terminal Pick-Up
The driver picks up guests from the hotel lobby or Bandar Bentan Telani Ferry Terminal between 08:30 to 09:30. One day before the tour, vehicle and driver details are shared for easy coordination.

Transfer to East Bintan Jetty
Travel by private transport to the departure jetty in East Bintan. The journey takes approximately 60 minutes from the Bintan Resort area.

Boat Transfer to the Kelong
On arrival at the jetty, guests continue with a short boat ride of approximately 15 minutes to the traditional kelong. Life jackets are provided for comfort and safety.

Enjoy the Kelong & Snorkeling Experience
Guests spend around 2 to 3 hours at the kelong and nearby snorkeling area, free to snorkel at their own pace, relax by the water, or take photos. Snorkeling equipment and basic guidance are included, and depending on availability and sea conditions, additional activities such as kayaking and light fishing may also be enjoyed around the kelong.

Return Boat Transfer
After time at the kelong, guests return by boat to the mainland jetty.

Optional Lunch Stop
If desired, the driver can stop at a local restaurant on the way back. Meals and beverages are at guests’ own expense.

Return Transfer
The driver transfers guests back to their hotel or Bandar Bentan Telani Ferry Terminal.

Booking, Payment & Cancellation Policy

How to Book

Contact BTG via WhatsApp or email with the tour date, hotel, and number of guests. The team will check availability and send the price and booking details. Booking early is recommended during weekends and holidays.

Payment

Advance payment is needed to confirm a booking. A deposit may be accepted, depending on the tour date. Payment goes directly to PT Bintan Travel Guide’s official account. Card payment is also accepted.

Cancellation Policy

Cancel at least 4 days before the tour date to get a refund, minus admin and processing fees.
Cancel within 3 days, no-show, or unused service: no refund.

Weather Conditions

Weather affects safety and comfort during the tour. If weather is not suitable, the tour can be rescheduled first. If rescheduling isn’t possible, a refund will be offered.
