Bintan Mangrove & Fireflies Tour Combined
This tour combines a daytime mangrove cruise with a nighttime fireflies cruise along the Sebung River.
During the mangrove cruise, guests may spot wildlife such as monkeys, monitor lizards and others, while the guide explains the ecosystem.
After dark, the second cruise offers a chance to see fireflies glowing among the trees.

- Tour departs 17:00–17:15 from the jetty, pick-up in the Bintan Resort area is around 16:45
- For hotels in East Bintan, pick-up is around 15:45–16:00 from the hotel lobby
- Pick-up or drop-off outside the Bintan Resort area is confirmed upfront at IDR 100,000–300,000 per transport, depending on hotel location
- Dinner is optional and at your own expense, arranged after the fireflies tour if you’d like to stop

Pick-up Service
You're picked up from your hotel lobby around 16:45 and taken to the jetty by private transport.
Pick-up covers the Bintan Resort area, with exact timing depending on your hotel location.
Journey to the Jetty
The ride to the jetty takes around 15–20 minutes from hotels in the Bintan Resort area, or about 60 minutes from hotels in East Bintan, depending on the exact hotel location.
Boarding & Briefing
At the jetty, your guide welcomes you and helps you get ready for the tour, including putting on your life jacket, before boarding the boat.
Mangrove Boat Tour
The experience begins with a cruise along the Sebung River, aboard a low-emission boat with your local guide and boatman.
Passing through the mangrove forest, you have a chance to observe the natural ecosystem, with the possibility of spotting wildlife such as monkeys, kingfishers, and monitor lizards.
Back at the Jetty
After the mangrove cruise, you head back to the jetty to wait for it to get dark enough for the fireflies, about 15–20 minutes.
Refreshments are offered while you wait, soft drink, young coconut, and ice cream, subject to availability.
Fireflies Boat Tour
Once it's dark, the second cruise heads out. On many evenings, fireflies can be seen glowing naturally among the mangrove trees.
Return or Dinner Stop (Optional)
After the fireflies tour, you can head straight back to your hotel, or stop for dinner at a nearby restaurant or one along the way, entirely optional, and your driver stands by either way.
Let us know at the time of booking if you'd like to plan a dinner stop.

Cancel at least 4 days before the tour date: refund minus admin and processing fees
Cancel within 3 days, no-show, or unused service: no refund

Weather affects safety and comfort during the tour. If weather is not suitable, the tour is rescheduled first; if rescheduling isn’t possible, a refund is offered.
