Tour Itinerary
Hotel Pick-up
Your private driver picks you up from your hotel lobby and takes you to the jetty. Pick-up for hotels in the Bintan Resorts area is usually around 4:30–4:45 PM, depending on your location.
Transfer to the Jetty
The drive takes around 15–20 minutes from the Bintan Resorts area or about 60 minutes from East Bintan, depending on your hotel location.
Arrival and Safety Briefing
Meet your local guide at the jetty for a short safety briefing. Life jackets are provided before boarding the boat.
Late Afternoon Mangrove Tour
Travel by low-emission boat along the Sebung River for around 50–60 minutes. Learn about the mangrove ecosystem and look out for wildlife such as monkeys, kingfishers, and monitor lizards. Wildlife sightings are not guaranteed.
Break at the Jetty
Return to the jetty for a 15–30-minute break while waiting for it to get dark. Refreshments such as soft drinks, young coconut, and ice cream may be available.
Evening Fireflies Tour
Take a 30–45-minute boat tour along the Sebung River after dark. Look for fireflies glowing among the mangrove trees. Their visibility and numbers depend on natural conditions, so sightings are not guaranteed.
Return to Your Hotel or Optional Dinner Stop
After the tour, return to your hotel or request an optional dinner stop at a nearby restaurant or local food court.
