This tour runs both a daytime and nighttime cruise on the Sebung River back to back, starting with a 16:30 mangrove cruise and continuing with a 19:15 fireflies cruise.

Guests may spot wildlife like monkeys and monitor lizards during the first leg, and fireflies glowing among the mangroves during the second.

Pick-up, return transfer, and an English-speaking guide are included, with dinner in between left to guests’ own expenses

Details Itinerary

Pick-up Service
Guests are picked up from their hotel lobby around 16:00 and transferred to the jetty by private transport. Pick-up covers the Bintan Resort area, with exact timing depending on hotel location.

Mangrove Boat Tour (16:30, 60 Minutes)
The experience begins with a cruise along the Sebung River. Passing through the mangrove forest, guests have a chance to observe the natural ecosystem, with the possibility of spotting wildlife such as monkeys, kingfishers, and monitor lizards.

Dinner Break (17:45, Own Expense)
Free time to have dinner at a nearby restaurant. Dinner isn’t included in the package, so guests are free to choose from local dining options nearby.

Fireflies Boat Tour (19:15, 45–55 Minutes)
The journey continues with an evening river cruise after sunset. On many evenings, fireflies can be seen glowing naturally among the mangrove trees.

Hotel Drop-Off
After the tour, guests are transferred back to their hotel, wrapping up the experience.

Booking, Payment & Cancellation Policy

How to Book

Contact BTG via WhatsApp or email with the tour date, hotel, and number of guests. The team will check availability and send the price and booking details. Booking early is recommended during weekends and holidays.

Payment

Advance payment is needed to confirm a booking. A deposit may be accepted, depending on the tour date. Payment goes directly to PT Bintan Travel Guide’s official account. Card payment is also accepted.

Cancellation Policy

Cancel at least 4 days before the tour date to get a refund, minus admin and processing fees.
Cancel within 3 days, no-show, or unused service: no refund.

Weather Conditions

Weather affects safety and comfort during the tour. If weather is not suitable, the tour can be rescheduled first. If rescheduling isn’t possible, a refund will be offered.
