Bintan Blue Lake, Sand Dunes & Fireflies Tour visits two of the island’s scenic spots by day, then rounds off with fireflies at night, all in a single private trip.

Guests walk between the Sand Dunes and Blue Lake, a turquoise former mining site.

A dinner stop follows at a restaurant along the way, at the guest’s own expense, before a 45 minute evening cruise to spot fireflies among the mangroves.

Pick-up starts around 3:45 PM, with private transport and a driver-guide covering the full afternoon-to-night schedule.

Pick-up Service
Pick-up is around 3:45 PM from hotels within the Bintan Resorts area. Pick-up is earlier for hotels outside this area.

Transfer to Bintan Sand Dunes & Blue Lake
Travel to the site is by private transportation. The journey takes around 30–35 minutes from the Bintan Resorts area.

Explore Sand Dunes
Guests explore the sand dunes at their own pace, with the driver staying for photos.

Visit Blue Lake Bintan
A short walk away, Blue Lake Bintan is known for its turquoise water. It’s a former mining site now turned into a natural lake.

Dinner Break (Own Expense)
Guests stop at a nearby restaurant for dinner, at their own expense. The driver-guide takes guests to a restaurant along the way that suits their preference.

Fireflies Boat Experience (45–55 Minutes)
After dinner, guests head to the fireflies jetty for a boat ride, watching fireflies glow among the mangrove trees along the river.

Return Transfer
Guests are transferred back to their hotel after the tour. Return time depends on hotel location.

Booking, Payment & Cancellation Policy

How to Book

Contact BTG via WhatsApp or email with the tour date, hotel, and number of guests. The team will check availability and send the price and booking details. Booking early is recommended during weekends and holidays.

Payment

Advance payment is needed to confirm a booking. A deposit may be accepted, depending on the tour date. Payment goes directly to PT Bintan Travel Guide’s official account. Card payment is also accepted.

Cancellation Policy

Cancel at least 4 days before the tour date to get a refund, minus admin and processing fees.
Cancel within 3 days, no-show, or unused service: no refund.

Weather Conditions

Weather affects safety and comfort during the tour. If weather is not suitable, the tour can be rescheduled first. If rescheduling isn’t possible, a refund will be offered.
