This tour combines a mangrove river cruise with a visit to the Sand Dunes and Blue Lake in a single half-day trip, running around 4–5 hours.

Guests start with a 60-minute cruise along the Sebung River, where a chance to spot wildlife such as monkeys, kingfishers, and monitor lizards depends on daily conditions, before transferring roughly 20–25 minutes to the Sand Dunes and Blue Lake, a former mining site known for its turquoise water.

A driver-guide stays with the group throughout, and entrance fees to both sites are included.

Details Itinerary

Pick-up Service
Pick-up is available from the hotel lobby or Bandar Bentan Telani Ferry Terminal between 08:30 to 14:45.

Transfer to Mangrove Jetty
Travel to the mangrove jetty is by private transportation. Journey time depends on pick-up location, though guests staying within the Bintan Resorts area typically reach the jetty in around 15–20 minutes.

Mangrove Boat Tour
The experience begins with a 60-minute boat cruise along the Sebung River, accompanied by a local mangrove guide. Guests learn about the local ecosystem and may occasionally spot wildlife such as monkeys, kingfishers, and monitor lizards, depending on natural conditions and daily activity in the area.

Transfer to Sand Dunes & Blue Lake Bintan
After the mangrove tour, the group continues to the Bintan Sand Dunes and Blue Lake by private transportation with the driver-guide. The journey usually takes around 20–25 minutes.

Explore Bintan Sand Dunes
On arrival, guests are free to explore the sand dunes at their own pace. The area offers spots for photos, and the driver stays with the group throughout the visit.

Visit Blue Lake Bintan
A short walk from the sand dunes, Blue Lake Bintan is known for its turquoise water, a former mining site now turned into a natural lake.

Return Transfer
After completing the visit, guests are transferred back to their hotel or Bandar Bentan Telani Ferry Terminal by private transportation.

Additional Stops (Optional)
Depending on schedule and available time, a short stop can be arranged at a nearby restaurant (own expense), minimart, or souvenir shop along the way.

Booking, Payment & Cancellation Policy

How to Book

Contact BTG via WhatsApp or email with the tour date, hotel, and number of guests. The team will check availability and send the price and booking details. Booking early is recommended during weekends and holidays.

Payment

Advance payment is needed to confirm a booking. A deposit may be accepted, depending on the tour date. Payment goes directly to PT Bintan Travel Guide’s official account. Card payment is also accepted.

Cancellation Policy

Cancel at least 4 days before the tour date to get a refund, minus admin and processing fees.
Cancel within 3 days, no-show, or unused service: no refund.

Weather Conditions

Weather affects safety and comfort during the tour. If weather is not suitable, the tour can be rescheduled first. If rescheduling isn’t possible, a refund will be offered.
